Alvarado Road Show an earthy, edgy country band took the stage Saturday night at the First Baptist Activity Center in Stuttgart, AR to help raise money for local Sharon Black, a Humphrey resident, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. The benefit boasted the soulful country group, hamburger supper and a silent auction. The night’s total came to $10,000. Money raised will go strictly to pay for medical expenses and the family has an account set up at the Arkansas County Bank, the Sharon Black Cancer Benefit, for that purpose alone.
